Best Snack Deals at Magic Kingdom
It can be hard to find the best snack deals at Magic Kingdom! That’s why I’m going to take you through 5 of the best deals at the Magic Kingdom to help you stay on budget for your next trip!
How Much do Snacks Cost at the Magic Kingdom?
In 2022 stopping for a snack can put a big dent in your vacation budget. Some snacks like the famous turkey leg will set you back over $12!
Most will fall somewhere between $6 and $10. What you want to look at is what are you getting for that price and if the snack is easily sharable. This will get you the best deal, especially when you have a family of five or more like we do.
Can’t You Just Bring Your Own Snacks to Magic Kingdom?
Yes you can! In fact I highly encourage that you do especially if you are going to have little ones or picky eaters. Not only will it save money but you know you will have something on demand that your family enjoys.
Some of my favorites to bring are:
- dried fruit
- jerky
- granola bars (Make sure they don’t contain chocolate or other ingredients that will melt!)
- gummy snacks
- applesauce pouches
I especially encourage you to bring in your own refillable water bottle which will save you from purchasing expensive bottles and save time. If you forget to bring your water you can stop by a quick service location and ask for a free cup, but this will require lots of time waiting in line.
Sometimes however space will limit you- I personally don’t want to drag around enough food to feed our family for the entire day. Also part of the fun are the amazing snacks that will be surrounding you all day long!
Where to Find the Best Snack Deals at Magic Kingdom
Here are some of the places you will find the best snack deals at Magic Kingdom. Make sure to read till the end to find out my absolute favorite deal of any snacks at Disney World!
Brownie Sundae- Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
This treat one of the pricier on my list at $7.99. When it comes to ice cream though, you’ll get a lot of bang for your buck. This snack includes warm brownie served with hot fudge, whipped cream, cherry and your choice of 2 hand-scoops of ice cream.
Considering a Mickey premium bar is running $5.99 right now, it makes this one of the snack deals at Magic Kingdom. Major bonus with this treat is that it is customizable and you can pick your hand scooped flavors.
French Fries-Assorted Quick Service Locations
Now I know that this is technically a side, but hear me out. At 4.49 for a snack that is super easy to share it makes for a great deal. Plus, sometimes it is good to have something more savory that the traditional sweets and ice cream.
An added bonus in this snack is the location itself. Going in and ordering a snack at a quick service dining location gives you a great break from the weather in case of a rain shower or a particularly hot afternoon.
Chocolate Chunk Cookie- Golden Oak Outpost
This snack is $3.49…..yes I will say it again $3.49. Finding snack deals at Magic Kingdom for under $4 can be tough. Next time you find yourself between Frontierland and Adventureland stop by for a cheap treat!
Also just a heads up- this location has limited hours (usually afternoon). Make sure to check the daily schedule in the My Disney Experience app.
Coconut or Raspberry Dole Whip Swirl- Aloha Isle
If you are looking for a classic snack but want to pinch every penny- check out one of the swirls ant Aloha Isle. Right now these are selling for $4.99. That is $1 less than the traditional dole whip!
The next time you stop by Aloha Isle check the prices for each flavor- you may get to save a buck and try something new!
Refillable Souvenir Popcorn Bucket- Various Stands
Now for my FAVORITE snack deal. In various locations throughout the park you will find refillable popcorn buckets. The current price is $13. It has gone up over the last couple of years but it is still a great deal.
After purchasing you can return to ANY popcorn cart and receive a refill for only $2.50. You can do this as many times as you like for the entire length of your stay. Even better you can get it filled at any of the four parks and Disney Springs.
The buckets make great souvenirs and change seasonally. This means that you can start collecting and bring some of the fun home for your next at home Disney movie night.
Make sure to purchase one on your first day to get the most value possible.
*Pro tip: Get a refill right before leaving the park for a cheap late night snack in your resort room.
