What is Mobile Ordering?
Mobile ordering at Walt Disney World is a way to order food through the My Disney Experience app on your phone.
You can not only select your items, but customize them, pre-pay, and select a time for pick up! It really makes lunch and snack time so much easier!
Can You Use a Gift Card to Mobile Order?
Yes! When mobile ordering first appeared at Disney this was not an option, but now you can pay with a Disney Gift Card at all mobile order restaurants at Epcot. You will have to enter the card information each time, so make sure and have it handy!
Why Would I Want to Mobile Order at Disney World?
Mobile order is amazing! For those of us who have been doing Disney for a while this was a game changer when introduced in 2017. At that time it was available at only a few locations, but has since expanded throughout the resort.
It allows you to avoid waiting in long lines to order and simply place the order in advance on your phone. This means that while I am waiting in line to buy souvenirs, I can be placing our lunch order so that less precious Disney World time is wasted.
In 2021, however, it also means that you are waiting inside the restaurant for less time, thus allowing for more social distancing.
So Where Are All Mobile Order Restaurants at Disney Springs?
- D-Luxe Burger: Town Center, specialty burgers (and plant based burgers) and shakes
And….that’s it.
Surprising, right?
While places like the Magic Kingdom have recently added additional mobile ordering locations, Disney Springs still is limited to D-Luxe Burger.
Hopefully, I will be adding more to this list of all mobile order restaurants at Disney Springs very soon! Until then your best bet for short dining waits is to arrive during off peak times. Late lunches and early dinners are a great way to reduce waits. I usually have my family leaving Disney Springs before 7 pm, which has worked well for us in avoiding the massive crowds that will ascend for the evening.
Don’t worry though, if there was going to be just one location, this is a great one to have available. The menu is not only full of great burger options, there is also a variety of specialty gelato shakes (even some fun alcoholic shakes).
