What to include in you itinerary for your little (or not so little) Princess
Disney World for Princess Lovers
Ready for not only the most magical vacation, but the most royal vacation on earth?
Of course you are! Nothing says Disney magic like the royal touch of princess theming. Let’s go through a list of what you can include in your trip to please the princess lovers in your group.
Where to Stay?
If you want to spend 24 hours a day surrounded in princess fun, you are in luck. Disney offers several options when it comes to princess themed resort rooms. These rooms are available at every level at Value, Moderate, and Deluxe Hotels.
These include:
- Little Mermaid Rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation ($)
- Royal Rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside ($$)
- Little Mermaid Rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort ($$)
- Moana Rooms at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort ($$$)
Most of these rooms are a bookable category so pay close attention during booking to make sure you get the room you want.
Where to Eat?
Eating with a princess is a really fun way to spoil your princess lover with the royal treatment. Disney World has 2 character meals where you meet your favorite princesses
- Cinderella’s Royal Table in Magic Kingdom – Here you will meet Cinderella and other princesses INSIDE Cinderella’s Castle!
- Akershus Royal Banquet Hall -Epcot’s Norway Pavilion -Here you will meet a rotating group of princesses
Another location to keep in mind is Be Our Guest located at Magic Kingdom. While there are no Princess meet and greets, the atmosphere is some of the best that Disney has to offer. Here you will dine inside of the Beast’s castle fully immersed in the world of Belle.
What Parks to Visit?
All Disney World Parks are magical, but some have more princess activities than others. If you have a short trip planned and want to do as much princess as possible I would focus on the following 2 parks.
Magic Kingdom
This is a no brainer if you want as much princess as possible. Highlights include
- Being transformed into a princess at the Bibbidi Bobbiti Botique
- Meeting Princesses at Fairytale Hall and other locations
- Rides such as Under the Sea-Journey of the Little Mermaid, Prince Charming’s Regal Carousel, and more
Epcot
While Epcot doesn’t naturally make you think of princesses, it is actually one of the best places if you want to meet them face to face. It is also the only place you will be able to meet Anna and Elsa at their Sommerhus located in the Norway Pavilion. You can also catch the Beauty and the Beast Sing Along in the France Pavilion.
Where to Shop?
Even princesses need their souvenirs, and there are plenty to be found throughout the Disney World Resort. Some of my favorites include:
- World of Disney – Located in Disney Springs, this is the largest amount of products you will find on property
- Sir Mickey’s – Located just behind Cinderella’s Castle in the Magic Kingdom, this shop specializes is princess toys and gifts
- Bonjour! Village Gifts – Located in Fantasyland at the magic kingdom they not only have Beauty and the Beast merchandise, but also an assortment of other princess products
